Hardcover, no dustjacket, a clean, crisp copy of the original edition of this beautiful production, 196 pages, several illustrations, including color plates, author was Principal of the Berling Confectionery, Pastry and Candy Trade School in New York City, "A practical book teaching the best method for baking tarts, fancy pastries, candies, chocolates, puddings, ices, ice creams, sugar works, marzipan, and decorations in all styles, book has very mild tanning to the text pages and a small area of foxing on the bottom outer page-edge that detracts little from this copy, the blue cloth binding is bright, tight and clean and the contents are exquisite .
