The book is in nice condition with a few wear marks on spine and rear cover (see photo), owner name penned to first blank page otherwise no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, tight binding, foxing on a few pages opposite plates (but most pages have no foxing), photo plates are clean and not foxed, clean pages. The book measures 225mm tall x 145mm, and has 224 pages, 155 b/w photos, index. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.

Fore edge and bottom of the text block untrimmed. Minor foxing throughout and a few roughly opened pages. 150 plates from photos. Original printed dustwrapper which is slightly soiled and worn but overall a great copy complete with the rare dustwrapper. Neate G05. Seems more like a travel title than a how to for Alpine photography. Part of the the great Witherby series which are a great interesting travel book series. 1927
