Jonathan Cape, 1929. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1929. Fourth Impression. 254 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Binding remains firm. Crinkling to pages at gutters. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Pages are moderately tanned throughout. Water staining to top corners of back endpaper & pastedown. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. There is bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Significant split to back spine joint. Splits to other spine joints also. Fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Tanning to spine& edges causing discolouration.
