First Edition. Near Fine / near fine. 16 color plates, 87 monochrome plates. Artifacts from Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California collected in the 1780's and 1790's. Book is slightly cocked, otherwise excellent. Corners are square and the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has a partial tear and wrinkle at the head of the spine, otherwise excellent.
