Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped (13s. 6d. net), faded at the spine, rubbed at the edges, a chip at the fore-edge of the front panel. Orange boards, pushed at the corners, with gilt lettering on the spine. Firmly bound with a forward lean, clean internally. The poorly renamed first UK printing of O'Connor's debut story collection A Good Man Is Hard to Find, featuring classic stories like the title story, "Good Country People," and "A Circle in the Fire.
