Bay Books, Sydney & London, 1982. 1st Edition. HARDCOVER. Large, very heavy 4to in fine dark blue cloth covered boards, gilt lettering to spine, gilt embossed flower to front cover, unpaginated, approx. 312pp on very thick art paper, illustrations in text, colour plates, bibliography, index etc. This copy has been signed in full by Boyd on the half title leaf with an inscription by him below it, signed Arthur. Loosely enclosed is some correspondence between the recipient in London and Stuart Purves (of Australia Galleries) which dates Boyds inscription to 1993. There is a small neat bookplate on the front paste-down end-paper of the previous owner __CONDITION : A well preserved FINE very clean and tight copy in a FINE complete Dust Jacket.
