Blue cloth, decorated and lettered in gilt, t.e.g. Usual slight offset to endsheets, ting 1930 ownership inscription in upper fore- corner of the front pastedown, otherwise, a bright, clean copy, near fine, though wanting the glassine wrapper and slipcase. First edition, limited issue. One of six hundred numbered copies, printed on handmade paper at the Curwen Press and signed by the author. The poems "represent the first fruits of Eliot's conversion (1927) after the despair of "The Hollow Men" and are among his most beautiful lyrics" - Connolly. GALLUP A15. MODERN MOVEMENT 65.
