London: Printed at the Chiswick Press, 1905 First edition, privately printed. Tan linen over blue paper boards, printed paper spine label. . Quarto. Six engraved portraits, wood-cut on title-page, and eighteen leaves of facsimiles. Corners rubbed, bookplate. Another bookplate removed, leaving blue stains. Overall a very good, clean copy. The story of Byron and his half-sister, Augusta Leigh, who was portrayed as Astarte in Byron's Manfred, according to his grandson, Ralph Milbanke, who seeks to vindicate Lady Byron.
