Thomas Powys, M.P. for Northamptonshire, walking in profile to the left, carries on his shoulders a large rectangular bale, corded, and inscribed 'Landed Interest For M[r Fo]x at Brookes's By the Carrier from St Alban's'. Pro Pitt advocate states in the doggerel at right: "Perusade him that a Tavern Vote, Should make a premier change his Vote, A Vote from coalesing Embers, Thus make this perservering Elf, As inconsistent as myself." Krumbhaar 34.
