London, UK: English University Press, 1966. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 192pp, numerous diagrams and charts. Blue patterned cloth-covered boards, silver titles on navy printed spine label to spine. 12mo. Spine ends and corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Grey endpapers. Internally this is a very neat volume which is clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has minor chipping to edges, light shelf wear, not price clipped. A book from the Teach Yourself Series, in as simple as possible language and with the minimum of mathematics, covers those parts of physics which are concerned with the structure of the atom, and behaviour of electrons and of atomic nuclei.
