About This Item
Bloomington, IN: AuthorHouse, 2010. Softcover, [xiii], 69 pages. Near Fine condition. First edition, first printing. Signed by author on the title page. Size 8"x5". "This kinetic-mojo poetry book was loosely designed to be read outloud, as a performance piece. It can be read as a standard poetry book; however, these versifications lend themselves best to a traditional jazz accompaniment - but this is not a hard and fast rule. (Play with it.) And please feel free to stop in on any local coffeehouse open mic night; and if you're feeling bold enough; use these words... until you've found your own. Tell them, "Rorry Nighttrain East sent me." Perhaps... you too will find out that you are an "August-messenger", and together we may just re-inspire the grand revival of (bongo and bass guitar background music), with the elan of spoken poetry-to be an art form that will live on." Book has very light exterior handling/shelfwear, else As New, clean and unmarked.. Signed by Author. Near Fine.
