Thornton Wilder's copy, noting his book The Bridge of San Luis Rey as a bestseller of 1928. Thornton Wilder (b.1897 - d.1975) won the Pulitzer Prize for The Novel for his best-selling book, The Bridge of San Luis Rey in 1928. This annual acknowledges this in it's listings and was dedicated to him by the publisher's.
