New York: Harper Collins Publishers, 1999. First edition, as stated. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. 774 pages with index, illustrated with black and white photo plate sections. The autobiography of the man who worked his way up from unemployment to membership in Margaret Thatcher's Conservative Party and went on to serve as Prime Minister. Black boards with black cloth spine, gilt titles on spine. Very light ege wear, a small spot or two on cover, small wrinkle at base of spine, gilt bright, signed and inscribed by author on front free end paper with another signature and inscription, interior pages clean and bright, binding tight. Black illustrated dust jacket with copper and white titles on front cover and spine shows a little edge wear, scuffing and minor spotting on back of jacket, not price clipped.
