About This Item
1942. unbound. 1 page on the inside of a custom-made Christmas card, each two-page spread measuring 6 x 4 inches, no place, no date, circa 1942, with the printed salutation: "A very Merry Christmas and The Happiest New Year. Maria Ouspenskaya." On the inside she wrote: "Dear Anne [Sheridan] After all Bob [Cummings] went through the southern rout (sic) and never hit Chicago. Cheerio. Madame." Having written with a fountain pen, there is slight bleeding to some of the words which does not detract. Fine condition. Very rare.

Ouspenskaya appeared in her very last movie in 1942 titled "Kings Row" starring Ann Sheridan and Robert Cummings as well as Claude Rains, Ronald Reagan and Judith Anderson.
