Autograph of Ian MacLaren, (1850-1907), the literary pseudonym of John Watson, English-born Scottish author and cleric. Signed on a small card, approx. 1.75 x 3.25 inches. Near Fine with light adhesive marks on the verso from prior mounting. MacLaren (aka Maclaren) wrote stories of rural Scottish life, including the hugely popular Beside the Bonnie Brier Bush (1894.)
