Coudert during a lecture tour of Canada, in part: "...Nothing is settled yet and I will try and send you a line from Toronto if I have made any final arrangements while I am here. I only came over to give off these lectures which I hoped might be of use in Canada at this particular moment." One horizontal fold but still in fine condition.<br/><br/> English statesman and three-term Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.<br/><br/>

Courdet, in full: "Thank you, old friend for your letter and for the enclosures you sent me. Your N.Y. man has handled it with due sense of gravity and responsibility... of the danger in the situation as there must be in a modern democracy if the ship begins to sink." Fine condition.<br/><br/> British statesman who served three terms as Prime Minister of Great Britain.<br/><br/>
