Invitation for the First Annual Political Action Fund Dinner with special guest Gloria Steinem, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Tuesday November 10, 1981.
From Wikipedia: "Campaign for Economic Democracy (CED) was a California-based political action committee founded by activist and politician Tom Hayden along with his wife, actress and activist Jane Fonda. The CED was formed to promote New Left issues such as rent control, reduction of water pollution, investing in solar power and fighting against nuclear power, advocating labor rights, women's rights and various anti-war initiatives." Much of the money to fund the CED came from proceeds of Jane Fonda's workout videos and books.
Invitation is signed by Gloria Steinem, Governor Pat Brown, Tom Hayden, Jane Fonda, Cesar Chavez and actor Mike Farrell.
