A bibliographic masterpiece, and one of the key reference works for plant taxonomists and botany librarians. This book also contains a number of more general titles, even including publications of the Quekett Microscopical Club. There is no index, but Appendix 1 contains a list of words and abbreviations with their often varied expanded equivalents. There is also a fascinating 'Political Chronology' (Appendix 2) giving details of places of publication (in English) and their historical variants.
