Vintage Paperback, Bantam 22; Arguably the best of the five great novels written by the first American to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, 'Babbit' is a satirical portrait of the American businessman that still maintains its relevance sixty years after its publication; text is clean, tight, square, moderately age-tanned; the permagloss laminate on the pictorial wrappers is still nearly perfect with only very minor surface and edgewear. A very collectable copy of a high point in American literature.
