Ted Berrigan, contributing the blurb to this volume, assesses Waldman: "Her poems sing like prayers, pray like songs of joy, never failing to catch the rush of hope, despair, intensity and desperation which pours in in golden smog-filled red-haze with each breath of life. This book is an ordinary miracle." Octavo. Original purple cloth, spine lettered in metallic blue. With dust jacket. A fine copy in near-fine jacket, extremities a little rubbed, spine ends and corners a little nicked and creased, sharp and bright.
