Text in Ancient Greek, preface and notes in Latin. Light age toning to pages, text clean. Faded stamp of U of C to FFEP. Contains the fragments of the poetry of Greek lyric poet Bacchylides [c. 518 - c. 451 BC].

Binding square & sound, text otherwise clean & bright.. 8vo. 5.375 x 8 in. xxviii, 126 pp. Third Printing of Bruno Snell's edition of Bacchylides' poetry, including fragments, after the editions edited by Blass & Seuss, first published in 1898 & 1912 respectively. Teubner's vermillion quarter-cloth over salmon cloth, titles in black. Text in Greek, Preface in Latin. Teubner critical text, published as part of the Bibliotheca Scriptorum Graecorum et Romanorum Teubneriana. A poor scholar's copy.
