New York: New Amsterdam Book Company, 1898. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Octavo, 8 1/2" x 6." pp. 159. Publisher's cloth beige boards with red and black image. Clean, but moderately sunned boards. Binding sound. Minor wear to extremities and top and bottom of spine. Ex-Libris stamp removed from front paste down. Interior pages clean and unmarked with numerous illustrations in red. Very clean copy. Collection of lyrical ballads from well-known authors, including William Makepeace Thackeray, Rudyard Kipling, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, set to pictures by Blanche McManus.
