In 1977 he crossed the floor to join the Progressive Conservative Party. He resigned in Jan. 1983. On November 6, 1984 after a trial that made national headlines, Thatcher was convicted of the 1983 murder of his ex-wife JoAnn Wilson. Backrooms the story of his political life and events leading up to his resignation from cabinet was written from his prison cell as he awaited an appeal hearing. . First Edition. Hard Cover.
