Purple soft cover with red and black titling on spine and front, colour photograph on front, pink translucent end papers, frontispiece is a colour photograph, black and white map of the area, a poem entitled "Backtracking" by William Studebaker, chapters cover Southern Idaho Archaeology; Ancient Art of Southern Idaho: An Archaeological Perspective; Mythical Musing; Ancient Art in Southern Idaho: A Mythological Perspective. Illustrated with colour and black and white plates, 67 pages. Cover has light shelf wear, a sunned spine, ink notation on front cover, some small pale spots of discoloration, text is clean and tight.
