1866 leather bound hardback as pictured. Ex-library with usual markings. This is a beautifully bound book that has seen some wear. Binding is firm. Full brown leather boards with bevelled edges, raised bands and gold stamping on front, back and spine are rubbed and scuffed with wear most noticeable at head and tail of spine and at corners. Marbled endpapers. Inscription dated 1872 on front endpaper. Gilt edge of text block. Text, printed on heavy stock, is clean and unmarked. Includes 15 steel engravings.
