About This Item
New York: Greenberg, 1952. [First Edition]. The author began his fiction career in Science Fiction but soon graduated to the more lucrative field of Detective/Thriller/Murder, in the paperback boom of 1960's, until finally establishing himself in fiction immortality with his popular character, Travis McGee. A nice, tight copy of the author's 2nd SF novel, very good copy, in paper over boards hardcover, with a 1/4" closed tear to d.j., and a few snags.

The story involves Earth sometime after World War III, with Brazil, Iran, and India as the prevailing superpowers.
