Kent: Ebenezer Press, 1969. Quarter natural hide spine over English Yew (wood) folio in purple cloth sleeve. Approx. 21" x 14 1/4". Limited number 61 of 100 copies, SIGNED by artist. 18 pages of text and title page cut by hand on blocks obtained from a single apple tree; 23 illustrations, signed by Clarke, cut from wood and lino, all combined into 16 hand printed, folded sheets. Printed on Mellotex High White Cartridge using a Cogger (1820) press, thought to be the only in existence. One of the lesser known Arthurian legends from Roger Lancelyn Green's "King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table." Clarke's first hand printed artist's book. A fine copy, internally clean and bright. Size: Elephant Folio. Signed. Limited.. Leather. Fine. Private Press.
