A "record of nearly two centuries of Baptist witness in the Maritime Provinces," written while Levy was editor and manager of the Maritime Baptist. Uncommon in a dust jacket. Maroon cloth, gilt spine lettering, 336 pages (including appendices, index), illustrated. Mild wear to corners/spine ends, faint sunning to bottom edge of front cover, previous owner's stamp to front free end paper, in dust jacket w/previous owner's stamp to top right corner of front panel, creasing/wrinkling across top edge of same chipping to corners/spine ends, 1.5" tear to top of front fold, short edge tears, light soil to rear panel. Jacket now in protective mylar sleeve..
