1875 hardcover as pictured. This is a handsome edition of the Dickens Classics. Three quarter bound in marbled paper and tan leather with gold stamping. Spine with raised bands, head/tail bands and black and red paste on labels. Binding is intact though front hinge is lightly cracked. Marbled paper board is rubbed with some edge wear. Leather is scuffed and stained, dry over spine with a chip in one paste on. Marbled edge to text block and endpapers. Pencil notation on FFEP. Text appears clean and unmarked. Includes 12 tissue guarded illustrations by Phiz. We have several other volumes from Carleton's New Illustrated Edition in our store. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s OB2
