Hardcover with dustjacket, first American printing as indicated by the publisher's "1" in the number line on copyright page, book is in nearly new condition, a 3/4-inch crease to the black cloth at the top of the front cover is the only flaw, the jacket does not contain the National Book Award Winner notice making it first state, it is also in great shape, it has a mild crease at the same location as the book's crease, two tiny creases at top of spine, a mild crease at bottom of spine, and two mild and faint creases near the top and bottom of the rear panel, these creases do not detract much at all from the book's appearance but please see our photos to decide for yourself, the original price is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included; ; 558 pages .
