About This Item

Random House, 1966. Hardcover. Like New. 8x5x1. Jerome Kuhl. Scarce title from the Landmark series. Book is in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text is in Excellent to Like New condition and is unread and unused! Inside text appears to have had NO USE whatsoever! No writing or markings in the book. Outside Pictorial Cover show some very minor soiling and some wear primarily to the outside corners and edges, but overall very nice! This is a later book in the series that was not issued with a Dust Jacket and was primarily sent to schools and libraries. So it is hard to find this title in nice condition that is NOT an ex-library copy. This book has come from a private collection. To re-create the Battle of the Bulge, John Toland traveled 100,000 miles to interview a thousand military and civilian participants from ten countries. Here is his account of the battle in which U. S. Soldiers proved their resourcefulness and self-reliance when surprised, out-numbered, cold and hungry- and even when completely surrounded. A very nice book!
