Very good with light soiling to front board and ownership label on front pastedown. otherwise clean and tight. In a very good dust jacket (price intact) with two closed tears at the bottom of the spine and slight tanning to spine. A nice copy of this scarce title which won the Edgar Award in 1956 and was later adapted into a famous episode of the television series Alfred Hitchcock Hour in 1964.
