With nine essays by art, film, and cultural historians, a detailed chronology, and a bibliography, the catalogue examines the Beat movement in all its complexity - through the many crosscurrents, exchanges, and collaborations among poets, visual artists, musicians, and filmmakers. Tan cloth with white titling on spine and front, grey end papers, black and white illustrations throughout as well as a few in colour, 280 pages. Upper edge of dust jacket has edge wear with some light chipping, one-inch closed tear at upper end of spine, and a half-inch closed tear on back, shelf wear. Dust jacket is now in a clear Brodart sleeve. This is a handsome book, in nice condition. Book is overweight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
