Sudbury, MA: Kurbel Books, 1985. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 64mo - up to 3" tall. Miniature hardcover in card stock slipcase; Deluxe edition of 200 numbered copies of which this is 043; 2.5 x 2.5 inches; accordion fold; unpaginated; 12 illustrated pages, 11 of which are in color plus 4 pages of 20c dog stamps. Cream leather (goat) boards with blue titles to spine, marbled end papers, tiny exlibris book plate in front end paper for [Kalman] Levitan (co-founder of the Miniature Book Society), red stock slipcase with tiny color paste-down illustration to front, edges of slipcase are lightly creased, else no notable flaws. This little fold-out book is amazing and adorable! The artist E. Helene Sherman was occasionally visited by a toy poodle named Beau Pierre, and she made this little book to honor him. Ten pages numbered 1-0 each with a different illustration of Beau being the dog he is, followed by four pages of beautiful stamps of different breeds of dogs.
