Good looking, structurally sound artist exhibit catalog, featuring a bright, clean, unmarked interior, minor wear and tear to the colorful exteriors, a bit of soiling to rear panel, light rubbing, nearly square softcover format, measuring 6 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide, respectively. "Ce catalogue (no 3 - Serie A) a ete acheve d'imprimer sur les presses des Maitres-Imprimeurs Draeger Freres, le 30 Mai 1957," nothing that "La lithographie original qui orne la couverture a ete executee specialement part A. Beaudin et imprimeriee par Mourlot Freres." List of distributors inside front flap, introductory essay by Andre Frenaud, then 54 illustrations, mostly black-and-white but a few in color, and then exhibit check-list at rear. Andre Beaudin (1895-1979) developed his individual style during the 1930s and became regarded as one of the leading painters of the Ecole de Paris. He was a painter, sculptor, graphic artist and designer, influenced in his own words by the Cubism of Juan Gris, and the Surrealism and decorativism of Matisse.
