About This Item

Jacket is edge-worn, chipped, and rubbed. Tape repair to small tear at the head of the spine. Small hole in the jacket's spine below the tape repair. Sonny is an African American boy in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood, known as Bed-Stuy, of Brooklyn, and this book is his story told in the lyrics of a song, page by page, with the final page containing the whole song and musical notation.
