About This Item

New York: Random House, 1936. Hardcover in red cloth with black type on spine. Very Good. Collection of 67 stories by well-known American authors in chronological order from Washington Irving to WIlliam Saroyan, including Jack London, Herman Melville, Willa Cather, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ernest Hemingway

Although technically ex-libary, the library stamp appears on the endcovers and title page, because the library was for a senior-living center there was no general circulation and therefore very little wear.
