Harmondsworth: Penguin Books, 1950-54 First editions thus, 1950 and 1954. Two Penguin Scores. Paperbacks: card wrappers printed with colour decorative patterns, titled to front and spine, small oblong format, 102pp & 144pp. Penguin Scores No.9 and No.24. Symphony No. 1 has a biographical note(7pp) by McNaught and introduction by Gordon Jacob, who edited the series. Symphony No.2 has an introduction again by Jacob (which is translated into German and Spanish also). Very Good copies. Both have neat owner's name inside front wrapper. No.1 has some wear to wrapper spine. Well bound pages. Pages clean, the scores unmarked. Photos available.
