Amherst: PYR, 2008. Book Club Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. The first hardcover edition which followed the trade paperback original by several months. In dark grey boards and silver type to spine which is a little rubbed. Vertical creasing to spine which is common to this edition, more evident at ends which have a few nicks. Light ding to bottom rear corner, otherwise sharp corners, clean interior and tight binding. Crease to front board towards hinge which also appears due to bindery and crease to first two pages. Small nick to rear pastedown where paper is glued under which also occured at bindery. Jacket which is made out of a cheap material typical to these book club editions is glossy with just a couple nicks to top edges and very light edgewear.

Campbell Best New Writer Award nominee, is a freelance film editor, working mostly on documentaries and live music events for bands from Coldplay to Iron Maiden. He lives and works in London. He is also the author of The Blade Itself: The First Law. and Last Argument of Kings: The First Law, Book Three.
