Cox, Dublin, Ireland, is laid in: written and SIGNED by the author, "Love to all the Coxes" followed by a 17-line poem, An Old Field Mowed etc. in the author's hand. This poem was published in The New Yorker September 30 1961. -- Also laid in is a photocopy, 4 pages of a diary in Meredith's hand, containing: a poem-in-progress, mention of poetry by and conversations with fellow naval officer and poet Louis Coxe (whose ownership is in this book), Pacific war patrol on ship and shore, one date is 10-xi-44. -- Hardcover, pretty printed boards. Condition: near fine (endsheets bit discolored; no jacket).

This is a first-class copy of Ginsberg's famed exchanges with "Fellow Poets, Students, Scholars, Sadhus." Like new red binding with silver lettering on the spine. Copy signed by Ginsberg on first front end pages "Allen Ginsberg" and "AH" (Omah Hum). No marking throughout. Dust jacket has slight wear along the bottom and top edges, minor scuffing on front and back, not price clipped. Great find!
