About This Item
Berkeley, CA University of California Press, 1982. Hardcover First Edition (1982); First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. PENCIL UNDERLINING AND MARGINALIA for the first sixty pages or so. Else, Near Fine in Very Good+ DJ: Book shows only faint indications of shelving wear along the bottom edge of the red cloth-covered boards; the binding leans ever so slightly off square, but remains perfectly secure; the text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, showing a couple of very minor flaws and of course a major flaw: the pencil work. Remains, in overall appearance, very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows light wear to extremities, with a couple of tiny closed tears near the upper corner of the front panel; the mildest rubbing to the panels; price clipped. No longer 'As New', but remains close to it. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (9.25 x 6.25 x 1 inches). xvi, 325 pages. Language: English. Weight: 1 pound, 5.3 ounces. First Edition (1982); First Printing indicated by a complete numerical sequence. Hardback with DJ.
