About This Item

Fredericton: Sigma Services, 1990. Book. Near Fine. Paperback. Inscribed & Signed by Author. First Edition.. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. The author tries to provide "a jumping off point for the reader to begin digging out what is behind the Bible" in an effort to "stir up the reader," suggesting "what Pharaoh would say on a state visit to the Knesset," while encouraging "each reader to imagine what Joseph would say about his rule in Egypt," and showing "what another Joseph would say to his relatives in Bethlehem about the visit of the three Eastern Astrologers." Inscription reads: "Wallace:/With All Good/Wishes/27 Dec 96/Thos Merg." Two twice-folded 8.5" x 11" sheets inserted, one laid in at front, the other tipped in at rear, the first containing "Some Research Results for Behind The Bible Since Going To Press.", the other containing "More Research Results for Behind The Bible Since Going To Press." (the first sheet was originally tipped-in as well, but the glue has let loose). 312 pages (including glossary, bibliography, index), illustrated w/figures..
