(9"x7"). 390pp. Black cloth-covered boards with yellow & red decorations to upper cover & spine, giltstamped title to spine. Deckle edges. Light spotting to edges, especially the fore-edge of the lower cover, very small chips to topedges. Light tone, foxing to endpapers. Binding tight. Color plates with tissue. Sepia-toned fold-out map. Illustrated dust jacket covered in protective mylar: sun-darkened spine, 1" closed tear to tail-edge, 1/2" chip missing to tail spine extreme. Scarce with dust jacket.
