[London : George Virtue, 1836]. A handsome antique print - Ben Nevis, Loch Linnhe and the entrance to the great Caledonian Canal. Engraved by Samuel Fisher (fl.1830-1855) from an original study by the gifted Thomas Allom. Originally produced for the part-work series "Scotland Illustrated" (London : 1835-1838). Steel line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 140 x 178mm (approx. 5-1/2" x 7"). In very good and clean state. A guaranteed genuine antique print.
