Hardcover. writings from the British philosopher/founder of Utilitarianism; very good in tan cloth boards with darkened edges and spine (faded from purple?), two previous owner signatures on free front endpaper (one dated 1895 and the other 1937), tissue guard over frontispiece has one small hole, binding somewhat brittle else a tight square unmarked copy
