Repeated title-page plate, with signature, and 148 plates, partly colour lithographs tipped-in, partly hand-drawn and stencil coloured, and partly printed in fine collotype. HARDCOVER, uniformly bound in the original publisher's full burgundy cloth by Franz Paffenholz of Cologne, slightly rubbed along extremities, large gilt lettering to covers, gilt spines, decorative endpapers. In a very good condition, crisp plates. A lovely set. ~ Dritte Bearbeitung. Third, preferred edition, which became more complete since first published. F-6
