New York: Delacorte Press, 1998. First Edition (stated). . Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Bound in mauve boards backed with blue cloth; spine titles stamped in gilt. First American edition with the full number line present. Laid in is an ALS from Hill, dated Sept. 17, 1998, thanking the book's former owner for his signature request, and enclosing a a signed sticker, now affixed to the title page. No other marks or writing. A clean, tight copy in a dust wrapper with no wear (no rips, chips or clips). The jacket is now in mylar.
Synopsis
Reginald Hill has been justly compared with P.D. James and Ruth Rendell. He received Britain's most coveted mystery writers award, The Cartier Diamond Dagger Award, as well as the Golden Dagger, for his Dalziel/Pascoe series. Reginald Hill writes thrillers under the name of Patrick Ruell. He lives with his wife in Cumbria, England.
