Truman(? ) , chief cook and steward. Also stamped to the ffep is the "Byrd's South Pole Ship/ A Century of Progress/ 1933." The half title page and frontis are detached, laid in. Also laid in is a folded printed ad for visiting Byrd's South Pole Ship with a photo of Byrd on the verso, and the photo of Byrd clipped from the DJ. Minor foxing. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
