This is a novel consisting of a pair of novellas --"Adventure on Poloda" and "Tangor Returns" -- written in 1940 with the first novella issued in "The Blue Book Magazine" in 1942 and the second in 1964 as one of three stories in "Tales of Three Planets." The two short novels are combined for the first time in "Beyond The Farthest Star." This copy, F-282 (cover price $.40], is a first edition thus, first paperback edition, first printing. About 4 x 6 1/2 inches, 125 pages plus 3 pages of publisher's ads. Cover art and title page illustration by Frank Frazetta with introduction by Richard Lupoff. This is an unread copy with just a touch of edge wear and a hint of soiling to text block's yellow-dyed edges. Text itself shows slightest touch of age-tanning in margins and on inside covers.
