Softcover. 8vo - 20 x 13.5 cm.; Volume I: xxxv - 502 pp. Volume II: xxxi - 507 pp. Both volumes have an alphabetical index by subjects and a liturgical Sequence Index both of which apply to volumes I and II. Translated from the original French with no mention made of the translators. Six principal themes are used and they are: God, Christ, The Church, The Holy Spirit in the Liturgy, The Holy Spirit in Human Conduct and Realities of Human Life. Fr. Thierry Maertens was (at the time of writing) a Benedictine monk from St. Andrew's Abbey in Belgium. Previous owners' names stamped on the first page of both volumes. The covers show moderate wear and scuffing while the interiors are clean and the bindings are sound. .
